Anatomical Study of Mongolian Gerbil Adrenal Artery

Abstract
|
|
|
The arterial supply to adrenal gland of mongolian gerbil has been described. Observations were made by the specimens injected with latex after the flowing through in left ventricle. The results were summarized as follows;
1. The mongolian gerbil adrenal arteries originated only renal arteries.
2. Right adrenal artery originated two part of right renal artery thereafter each origin became external branchi and internal branchi.
3. Left adrenal artery originated a part of left renal artery thereafter it divided internal and external branches.
4. All adrenal internal branches divided superior, middle and very thin inferior and external branches divided dorsal and ventral branches.
